Chorus is a course that explores group singing and choral arts with a wide variety of cultures, time periods, and genres through study and performance. The core curriculum emphasizes the basics of vocal technique, sight reading, music theory, and music history. Students in Choral Music are expected to perform their work throughout the semester in various performances. This class will perform at least six times throughout the year in performances, competitions, and throughout the community.

Need to pay dues?

Studio West requires class fees to fund choral program initiatives which include music, choral folders, transportation for Large Group Performance Ensemble, meals for performances, and technology and equipment for performances. Choral students are required to pay a fee of $100 due by September 2, 2020. Choral students are also required to purchase the required performance attire. All information regarding performance attire will be shared at the parent meeting on September 2nd, 2020.
